Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her acting debut with Dhadak, the Hindi remake of the Marathi film Sairat. The 21-year-old is the oldest daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor. Her siblings include Khushi Kapoor and half brother Arjun Kapoor. Contrary to rumours, she and her half brother share a very warm relationship and this was evident when the actor welcomed her into the industry with the sweetest message!

“Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever Janhvi Kapoor cause your trailer comes out… Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry,” he wrote, ahead of the release of her film’s trailer.

He further added that now that she’s a part of the industry, she has to take in opinions with respect and how it’s not going to be easy at all but she will make it.

The trailer is out and features the young lovers and their romance. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also features Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khattar. The film, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is slated for a July 20 release.
