Jai Has A Drinking Problem: Producer Reveals Shocking Information!

Producers were not happy with Jai on sets!

Jai’s ‘Balloon’ film starring Anjali and Janani has hit the screens and is running successfully. However, amidst his shoot schedules, Jai was battling a legal turmoil as a result of his drink and drive issue. ‘Raja Rani’ fame actor Jai was arrested last year along with comedian and his friend Premji by Chennai police for driving under the influence of alcohol. According to report, Jai was returning in his Audi car along with friend and actor Premgi after partying at a star hotel. Jai was said to be driving the car and rammed the divider on the Adayar flyover at around 2:30 AM.

The Saidapet Court then issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the actor for not turning up on the trials day. Following this, the producers of Jai’s movie ‘Balloon’ have filed a complaint with him stating the actor’s drinking issue. According to the producers, they started Balloon in June 2016 and had plans to release the film in January 2017 but the lack of professionalism in Jai has caused twelve months delay. “He never came to the sets on time, had drinking issues and tortured us. At one point, our director Sinish was forced to commit suicide”, mentioned the producers in their complaint.

According to Sify, Balloon’s producers also said that Jai staged a drama by saying that the film’s heroine Anjali was admitted in a hospital because of serious epilepsy condition and left the shooting spot but later came to know that what Jai told them was a blatant lie. The producers have said that Jai’s unprofessional behavior caused them 30 lakhs loss and they have enough proof. Nandakumar and Arun Balaji demand 1.5cr (including the interest ) from Jai and requested the council to not allow the actor to sign any new films.
