In Conversation With Richa Kar, Founder And CEO Of Zivame

‘Every woman is sculpted differently and needs a unique style that fits her particular need’

 

How has the response to Zivame been?

By being a great catalyst and using technology to provide women an unsurpassed lingerie experience, Zivame is currently the biggest online retailer specializing in lingerie. The company claims to sell more than one bra per minute. 60 per cent of its revenue comes from products developed in-house, and 30 per cent of revenue from second- and third-tier cities. Sales of sexy lingerie have also grown 96 per cent in March this year as compared to last year.

What is the road map ahead for Zivame?

We have almost broken the clutter for women who are still hesitant in talking about their bra size during their lingerie shopping. With more of such initiatives we intend to become the most desirable global women’s brand. We will also increase merchandise across categories (Lingerie, nightwear, easy wear etc). We also look forward to enhancing customer experience through tech innovations and expand the concept of fit stores across various cities in India.
