How To Fall Asleep in 5 Minutes!

Scientifically proved methods!

Falling asleep fast is a luxury to this generation. Being stressed and sleep deprived is becoming increasingly common among today’s urban society. Do you feel like you are not getting enough sleep? Do not feel rested? Always anxious when you go to bed? Plagued by insomnia? If all of this sounds, familiar to you, here’s a few tips that might help you fall asleep right away!

TRY THE 4-7-8 METHOD

It is most easiest way to fall asleep! You simply breathe in through your nose for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, and exhale through your mouth for eight seconds. Keep doing this and you will not know when you actually fell asleep. This combination of numbers have a chemical effect on your brains and will slowly reduce your heart rate and soothe you to sleep.

HIDE THE CLOCK

Find yourself constantly looking at the bedside clock and time ticking away? Hide that clock! Constantly checking time just increases stress and makes it harder for you to fall asleep.

TAKE A WARM SHOWER

Take a nice warm shower before going to bed. Warming up your body with a hot shower and then coming out to a cooler environment will reduce your body temperature. This rapid drop in temperature prepares your body for sleep. Showers can be very relaxing after a hard day at work and if you can routinely time the shower with your bedtime, it will give more sleep value.

FORCE YOURSELF TO STAY AWAKE

Reverse the psychology! What better way to fall asleep than try to stay awake? You will fall asleep in minutes if you try this method. Although this is not a long-term solution, it might come of use for sometime.

LISTEN TO MUSIC

One of the best ways to cool your nerves, listening to soft lullaby music at bed, might help you fall asleep quickly. Studies have proved that listening to slow rhythm music before sleep reduces depression and increases sleep quality.
