The Carnival in Brazil is one of the most anticipated events ofthe year. The history of Carnaval goes back to Greeks and Romans who celebrated spring. The ideas for the carnival have been evolving with each year. Currently, there are dancers with exotic costumes and musicians who parade through the streets. The best place to witness the carnival is Rio, where the celebration lasts for 5 days. One can book a stay in any of the hotels in Zona Sul ( Southern Rio) which is located by the sea. Ipanema and Copacabana form a huge ground for the spectacular Carnival. The best part about the carnival is that, apart from displaying various talents, it also gives participants and visitors a chance to ‘feel’ what Brazil is like. Tickets for the carnival can be booked in advance in the official site.

Tip: Take care of your belongings and refrain from using flashy and expensive accessories. Carry very little belongings when you are going to crowded places, like the carnival.
