There is no doubt that Dulquer Salmaan is a heartthrob of entire South India and his acting is as brilliant as his father Mammootty’s. However, Dulquer has also agreed that he is his father’s biggest fan. The actor recently posted about one of his all-time favorite Mammootty movies, ‘Big B’, on his official Facebook page. On completing 10 years, the movie ‘Big B’ in the year 2007 received a humungous response from all over and the director was none other than Amal Neerad, the same who is all set to release Dulquer’s ‘CIA: Comrade In America’.
In his post, he said, “Today makes 10 years of the release of Big B! For me one of the greatest cult classics of Malayalam cinema and of my top 5 favorite roles enacted by my father. The movie gifted Malayalam cinema some of the greatest talent in its transition to the kind of cinema made today. At the helm of that film was Amal ettan. One of our finest filmmakers and DoPs. It’s my great privilege to be a part of his film.”

Dulquer Salmaan, who stated that he considers Big B as a cult classic, also remarked that Bilal John Kurissinkal is one of his top 5 favorite roles essayed by his father, Mammootty. The actor feels that he is blessed to be his father’s son.
Dulquer is awaiting the release of his upcoming Malayalam flick ‘CIA: Comrade in America’ directed by Amal Neerad. He was last seen in the movie ‘Jomonte Suvisheshangal’ alongside Aishwarya Rajesh and Anupama Parameshwaran. While Mammootty was last seen in the movie ‘The Great Father’ alongside Arya and Sneha.
