Rambha was very popular and ruled the Tamil and Telugu film industry in the 90’s. She had stiff competition when she entered the film industry, yet she managed to gain a mass fan following with her charming smile and terrific performances. She made her breakthrough with the film Ullathai Allitha opposite then heartthrob, Karthik. After that she acted with almost all popular heros of that time. She gave up films after her marriage to a businessman and is now settled in Canada with her kids. She did appear as a judge in the popular TV dance show Mannada Mayilada after quitting films.
