Bus strike conclusion talks begin!

Trade Unions insist on the presence of a retired High Court Judge

Latest news suggests that TN govt is all set to hold talks with trade unions about the ongoing bus strike that has affected the state terribly. During a hearing in Madras High Court, trade unions insisted that a retired judge should be part of all discussion. The unions also want the government to release wages for the strike period and withdraw criminal cases and departmental actions initiated against the workers in connection with the strike. Addressing the request, the special bench headed by Justice S Manikumar adjourned the hearing to 2.15pm.
