Sunday’s elimination witnessed many getting shocked over Shariq’s exit. Contrary to the elimination, many believed that Shariq was one of the strongest contestants. His exit left Yashika, Aishwarya, and Janani in tears, while his mother, Uma Riyaz, expressed her desire to enter the house as a wild card entry and teach everyone a lesson.

Sharik’s eviction saved other contestants who were nominated, namely Mahat, Mumtaz, Balajhie and Ponnambalam. With his exit, Balajhie offered himself to leave the house instead of Shariq.

And while his elimination was met with a lot of emotional responses, Shariq admitted that his stint in the show taught him little things such as making tea and kitchen work.

Ramya NSK, who was eliminated the last time, expressed her shock too via Twitter.

Kinda upset about Shariq’s exit. I really thought that this guy was capable of atleast going till the finals. In my eyes, he was genuine! My thambi! 🙂

Shariq, right before leaving, made Yashika the captain, upholding the bonhomie the two shared.
