Though Andrea never commented on the issue, in an interview with India Today in 2012, the ‘Kolaveri’ fame music director said, “It is unfortunate and rather distasteful that someone who downloaded these photos from my phone, while charging it on their laptop, has released it.”

Anirudh added,  “I am not the kind who goes kissing women and taking photographs. My parents have raised me with certain values and they stood by me in the midst of speculation and discussions. I don’t want to let something of the past divert me from the present and all that is happening.”

Confirming that the former couple were in a relationship and have moved on, he added in the above mentioned interview, “I have totally moved on from that relationship and my past does not influence or remain the driving force behind my future aspirations.”

Anirudh also apologised to Andrea in a recent interview for the leaked pictures and thanked her for her support during the tough times.
