The Malayalam film, Premam was one of the best movies ever created. The movie was directed by Alphonse Puthren and starred Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. The film was a huge hit. Even though the movie was in Malayalam, it was extremely liked by those of all languages. Premam ran for more than 300 days in Tamil Nadu.

Recently, Alphonse Puthren took to the social media to share that he was approached by five Hindi film companies to remake Premam. He shared that just like him, Premam too was imperfect. Only that imperfection turned the movie into a unique film. Alphonse wrote that masters and driver cannot recreate Premam, but only other small kids like him can. He ended his post with a request to whoever buys his film to avoid giving perfect shots.  

His response is very much needed though. Premam was already remade into Telugu, and it was not received well. The freshness and uniqueness of the original Premam could not be found in the Telugu version. So just like Alphonse Puthren himself, we too request the Hindi makers to be rational with their remake.
