All Women Motorists’ Team On Their Way To Rock The Himalayas!

Bravo girls!

Chennai-based Sara Kashyap along with 20 all-women motorists team is on their way to Himalayas on a 17-day adventure ride.  Sara has teamed up with fellow rider Urvashi Patole to lead the 13th edition of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey.

Their adventure ride will cover around 2200 kms and will come to an end on July 23. In an interview with the media, Sara said, “Be it man or woman irrespective of gender, negotiating the terrain of the mountain is very difficult. It is not like riding 100 km on a straight road. On a mountain it is more extreme.”

Patole is from Pune and started biking when she was just 14-years-old. She told Indian Express,”In 2011, I went on a journey with Royal Enfield and 9 other women to Leh-Ladakh which was a feat that was a turning point in my life… We scaled the passes together and opened our eyes to many other things we could achieve and overcome. It really was a big moment of our lives.”

The group of bikers also has a mix of women from different parts of the country and also some who are mothers. It’s great to see these women do what they’re passionate about.
