A.R.Murugadoss made his debut film Dheena with Ajith and the combo turned out, one of the blockbuster hits of all time. Ajith got the nickname ‘thala’ because that is how he was referred to in the movie and the name stuck along. After Dheena, the duo were supposed to make another film called Mirattal, but the project never took off and Murugadoss made the same movie with Suriya as Ghajini. We all know what a response Ghajini received and the movie paved way for Murugadoss’s entry into Bollywood.

Recently there have been reports that Udhayanidhi Stalin is in talks with A.R. Murugadoss and Ajith to make a film and the only pending thing in the project is Ajith’s nod. Ajith is currently holidaying with his family in Goa and recovering from the knee surgery he underwent recently.

Now, we see that A.R. Murugadoss has updated his Twitter cover to a poster of Mirattal and this has created a buzz among fans if the two are joining hands again. Murugadoss is currently wrapping up his next Hindi film Akira which has Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
