After starring in the award winning movie Kaka Muttai, Aishwarya Rajesh is all set to rock the screen with her next movie opposite Nivin Pauly. The actress just finished her shooting schedule and said Nivin is playing the role of a communist leader. Aishwarya plays a role of a girl from Tekkady and hasn’t spoken much about it.

“Siddhartha saw me in Kaaka Muttai and decided that I was perfect for this role. He told me he saw some spark in me in one particular scene; when I smile at the kids and at that moment, he decided to cast me. I’m really thrilled at the intensity of this script and my role. It’s wonderful to step into Mollywood this way,” she told NDTV.

Speaking about her co-star, she said,”Nivin is a completely chilled out and playful person. Along with director Siddhartha, he would laugh at my recitation of lines in Malayalam. On sets, he would laugh a lot and keep the spirits high. But once he gets into the character, he would transform fully into it. The first time we met was a bit awkward as no one formally introduced us. We got around to saying hi somehow and broke the ice.”

The movie is being directed by Siddhartha Siva.
