Baking soda is much more than just that white powder that we unconsciously consume in many forms of food. Being abundant in minerals, it acts as the best beautifying agent. Here are its multiple uses

If you are thinking of ways to stop break-outs and acne, mix one teaspoon baking soda with filtered water and rub it on the affected area for about a minute. Rinse it off and feel the difference.  Your skin will glow and you can actually feel a much cleaner and softer skin. It is a mini microdermabrasion treatment. Baking soda is an excellent drying agent and exfoliates the skin quite well. Remember to moisturise after washing the face and drying.
